Watch The Skies...

A few days ago a 12 mile wide object was discovered tearing through our Solar System at 137000MPH - luckily for us, it's trajectory takes it far from our orbit - if it had been coming our way we'd have had around 6 months to do very little that could make any difference - humans and most other forms of life on the planet would go extinct.

A sobering thought...

First Post...

First photo in this new blog. I wanted to create something centred entirely around a favourite piece of redundant technology - my Nokia E72 mobile phone from 2009.

I've been amazed to find out there's still a community of enthusiasts actively working to keep these ancient, Symbian powered devices functional - even in 2025, so after much digging, my E72 is now loaded with useful apps and a completely new TLS framework that allows it to communicate to the secure web.

Despite having a 5 megapixel camera, I've used it's MMS setting - VGA resolution, to illustrate how you can still take pictures without the megapixels and for practical reasons ie small file size - as each photo is being emailed from the phone and published directly into this blog!
